Intelligent Logistics President and CEO Tim Miller has just
returned from South Africa, where he was one of six delegates
of the Supply Chain Management Delegation representing the U.S.
supply chain industry to South Africa.
The trip was put together by People to People Ambassador
programs, a non-profit organization founded in 1956 by former
President Dwight D. Eisenhower. While in South Africa, the delegation
met with various government agencies, private and public companies,
education institutions, non-profit and industry associations
discussing the state of supply chain and logistics in both countries.
The meetings were held throughout the country in Johannesburg,
Pretoria, and Capetown, and the trip provided both professional
and cultural exchanges and experiences. Other delegates included
logistics professionals from Hewlett Packard, Porsche, Polo
Ralph Lauren, Kaiser Permanente, and Genentech Inc. |

STAFFING EXPANSION
Intelligent Logistics is pleased to announce the addition
of Mike Whelan to our staff. Mike joins us as Broker Manager,
following tenures with Swift Transportation and Central Refrigerated
Lines. Mike is a graduate of Brigham Young University with
a degree in History, and is fluent in several languages. Customers
can look to Mike for outstanding support in load booking,
customer service communication and management of each truckload
move.

On March 15, 2007 the existing office and warehouse facility
for Intelligent Logistics expanded to 22,500 sq. ft. of office
and climate controlled warehouse space. Conveniently located
in Round Rock, TX just off of IH-35 at FM 3406, Intelligent
Logistics is available to support our customers with more
space than ever before.
Along with the newly expanded space, customers can benefit
from our 24 hour online inventory visibility, customized transportation

ADDITION OF NEW TRUCKS ENABLES ILS TO OFFER EXPANDED REGIONAL
CARTAGE SERVICES
Intelligent Logistics expands local fleet to include 53 ft.
air-ride tractor/trailer equipment, along with liftgate-equipped
28 foot pup trailer capabilities. Customers may now take advantage
of extremely flexible Austin area and Central Taxes Regional
services for pickup and delivery of partial or full truckload
quantities of goods.
As with all Intelligent Logistics services, customers can
depend upon receiving excellent customer service and reasonable
rates for area cartage services.

Today, Intelligent Logistics LLC was awarded the number
9 ranking as one of the fastest growing companies headquartered
in Central Texas. This awards program is offered annually by
the Austin Business Journal, and is based upon year upon year
growth over a 3 year period. Intelligent Logistics achieved
a growth of 243% over the period from 2003 - 2005, and was placed

INTELLIGENT LOGISTICS BECOMES A MEMBER OF TIA
Intelligent Logistics is now a full member of the Transportation
Intermediaries Association, an educational association which
provides support to all of its members by promoting a code
of ethics for a higher standard of professionalism and business
code of conduct. Members include truckload carriers, brokers
and customers.

team in the position of Account Executive for all service divisions.
Shelley brings with her more than 11 years of sales success
in the Central Texas area. She formerly held positions with

Addition of ARCline Software and WMS system to the Intelligent
Logistics Truckload division.
Customers may now track their full truckload traffic online,
as well as run management reports.
Coming soon through ARCline will be Bill of Lading features,
which will allow a customer to create their own freight bills
on-line for transmission to Intelligent Logistics.
